Aeroacoustics Simulation in Star CCM+ using FW-H Model

I am trying to simulate the aeroacoustics noise generation due to a flow over an open cavity using Broadband Noise Model and also noise propagation in the far field using FW-H Model.
The Star CCM+ user guide explains the aeroacoustics simulation for flow over a cylinder. In the process the pressure probes near the wall surface are used in order to calculate sound pressure levels during the analysis. The FW-H module comprises both receivers and surfaces and I want to calculate the sound pressure at the receiver location. Also the receiver location is out of the computational domain. To calculate the sound pressure level, I can just select the pressure points which are added in the derived part. I can not make FFT for pressure oscillation at receivers location. There is no option for that. How can I make this? I need the methodology for calculating the sound pressure at the receiver location and making a FFT to plot SPL vs Frequency in Star CCM+. |
