Hi
I'm solving a problem which change its wall position to designated position with STAR CCM+. I gave extrapolated pressure outlet and stagnation inlet, 6bar for pressure, 5bar for supersonic pressure and 300 k for static temperature. My mesh is 2D polygonal mesh and I also gave prism layer. I try this with [Morphing-Point Set-Target Position] because the wall of nozzle must be at exactly designated position after morphing is done. I used (x, y, z) table to define both point set and target position. And Floating option for moving wall. After I start morphing, however, it stop with Non-Positive Volume Cell Error and the figure get distorted to unnatural form. Why this Non-Positive Volume Cell Error happen in Point Set Morphing and how can I solve this? |

Hi Ranshua,
I am having similar difficulties. Were you able to solve your problem? |
