Hi!
I have a question regarding volume mesh controls. I have a volume mesh of a model of about 150 buldings in Oslo with quite a large domain. (See Picture 1) What I want to know is how this can be changed to have smaller cell sizes towards the bottom, and larger towards the top (meaning it should be almost the same number of cell sizes). I've added an example of how I want the mesh to be (see Picture 2). Is there a way to control this? I hope the question was clear, if not, let me know and I will explain further. Regards Øystein |

I think you answered your own question. A series of volumetric controls.
In reality, it is a combination of that and other mesher settings, including your surface mesh to an extent. Have you tried creating a volumetric control? |

Field Function Refinement Table (in Operations -> Automated Mesh -> Surface Remesher, Polyhedral Mesher) set to the Table containing data extracted from user set Field Function that depends on z-coordinate ($$Position[2]) could help, but i'm not sure - how it will work with Surface and Volumetric Controls/
