Hello to everyone,
this is my first post here. I am meshing a UAV with STAR CCM+. I imported a solid model, with Fuselage, Wing and Tail all separated and assembled in CATIA V5. It works fine but the boundary layer isn't so good. It varies in thickness when there are intersections between the different bodies, in particular Fuselage and Wing. It is continuos but inconsistent. Have someone any suggestion to kindly give me? Thanks in advance |

Hi Andrea,
Did you solve this? I have very similar problems with the OpenFoam's mesher, snappyHexMesh. The layers are broken especially where my .stl has sharp angles. Jan |

Hi!
Sadly, I didn't already solve it. If I will, I am going to tell you. |

I guess if you don't refine the feature edge (unmark the feature edge) you'll solve the problem.
