Hi Everyone,
Having trouble importing a 2d file into it as a spline into CAD Model. The files that I am trying to import are the CSV comma delimited files from airfoil plotter which I have used before in Star CCM and have never had a problem with before. I have tried the following methods: 1. Making an excel file with just the X and Y values 2. Image attached below 3.Making an excel file with just X and Y values but adding an Z column with just 0 values? When I try a original CSV file or method 1 and 2, I just get the warning message saying "Unable to read the input .csv file. Please check the format of the file" but when I try method 3, I get a message saying "Import 2D Curves failed. spline creation failed. Command:CreateSpline error: Server Error". If anyone could help, would be very much appreciated as I am trying to get work done for my final year project and now all of a sudden, star ccm seems to be bugging out. |

Hi,
this seems like an incorrect format. Any headers or other characters which are not allowed? I don't see the image you stated. |
