Hi Guys.

I am quite new to Star CCM+.

Is there a way to view what the field function graph will look like as equated by Star prior to running the simulation. I have a heat flux input and I have created a report and plot from report on that boundary to follow the heat flux in W/Area vs time, but it does not nearly coincide with what the heat Flux vs time graph in Excel looks like.

Thanks in advance

it is not quite clear what you are asking but if we assume you have defined a user field function for heat flux as a function of time - and if this is the case then you can graph this within the user field function definition menu to check its form before running the case
