Hi everyone
Let's say - I'm running a simulation for 100 seconds with autosave set for every 10 seconds - and recording Solution History. The first 50 seconds are ok, data is recorded in Solution History, - and let's say at 51st second a heat source switches on, solution runs till the end, again all the solution is recorded in Solution History for the whole 100 seconds .. and (because of typo in Field Function or too agressive solver setting or whatever) - it turns out that I have to rerun. But to rerun - starting 50th second, not from the very beginning. So I want to: - rerun it starting 50 seconds, which can be done since I have an autosaved simulation and also first 50 seconds are recorded in Solution History; - have solution history contatining data only for those first 50 seconds and for the following 50 seconds, but only for a successful run. How can that be done? Loading simulation autosaved at 50 s, correcting (whatever caused problem) and launching - results in Solution History containing data for the first 50 seconds (ok), for following "faulty" 50 seconds (not ok) and for following "good" 50 seconds (ok). Any ideas? Last edited by cwl; August 9, 2020 at 20:52. |
