Hello all,

I am new to the CFD forums and decided to make an account since I do quite a lot of CFD and mostly have to figure things out myself which isn't always the quickest option... My issue I am having is not being able to view the flow field over the wing unless I use a plane cutting through the mesh which only shows me the contours on that plane. I'm trying to view the whole flow field for velocity over the wing but cannot seem to figure out how! I have included an image of my result so far and a second image of what I am trying to achieve I found in a journal. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think this is because the velocity at the wall is usually 0. I suggest to make an animation of the plane you use. it's in the options of the scalar plot.

Another nice option is to make an animation of you velocity in a vector scene using the same plane. In this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a48U5SjyMk&app=desktop) you can see how to make this field and what it looks like at 4:07. Animating this gives you a nice view of what happens over the length of the wing.

You just activate Animation and adjust the settings how you like, more steps gives you a smoother video. You can activate it pressing the play button above the scene(it starts gathering the data at that moment, so it could take a while).
