GulhermeSantos is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I'm modeling an intercooler and now i have some concerns about the thermal model to use along side the porous mode.

The company uses equilibrium model but my master thesis tutor asked me to search about the non-equilibrium model. I looked at it an i realized that the program instead of puting the solid phase and liquid phase at the same temperature, it resolves 2 energy equations 1 for each phase.

My problem is that i have simulations with the 2 models, and the heat exchanged in both is almost the same, even when i increase or decrease the htc that the non-equi requests.

Can you clarify about what model should i use and how the non-equi works? Am i doing something wrong?

thanks in advance
