Design Parameter use in Field Function Reference value?

Is there some trick to using Design Parameters in, for example, the Reference Length input to the Nusselt Number field function? I'm using my ${WallTemperature} global Parameter for its Reference Temperature, but don't seem to be able to do the same thing with my $PlateSpacing Design Parameter for its Reference Length. I've tried adding curly braces {} but that's not it.
Maybe Design Parameters can only be used as CAD dimensions, and not elsewhere? My workaround is that I created a Design Parameter named PlateSpacing and then a global Parameter named PlateSpacingCopy, and I keep track of them on my own, but it's klunky. Thank you! |
