Dear Colleagues,
I'm facing a challenge in witch I have to simulate a high pressure water spray from a descaling nozzle. In this case a continuum behavior water flow exits the descaling nozzle. After a certain distance from the nozzle, the droplets start to appear in the water spray. I was wondering if is possible to simulate this spray focusing in its format and behavior. How can I setup this analysis? Should I use VOF with DMP model? There is a transition between the continuum water phase behavior and the dispersed phase behavior. I found a similar analyze on this paper: https://www.ansys.com/blog/fluent-19...y-simulations. Thak you!! |

In one of the latest releases VOF Blob Detection model was introduced - that should be something similar in Star.
