Hi everybody
I'm a beginner of STAR-CCM+, my job is calculate the pressure drop of a simple pipe, but there's variety of initial condition I need to set. Specifically, I need set inlet pressure=1/2/3/4/5/6 kg/s, and record the pressure drop result from each inlet condition, there's lot of ctrl+c/ctrl+v from STAR-CCM+ to excel, I want use macro function to set different inlet pressure→run→export the inlet/outlet pressure in one excel file automatically. I have learned the basic macro usage (something like auto setting condition) from searching post on CFD-online, but have no idea how to set variety of initial condition/run/record in one macro, so asking for help, any suggestion will be great. Thanks in advance! |

I don't know it's useful but..
In that case you can make 1 macro for your simulation. maybe you can know how make iteration you need for converged solution. if that's 500, you can set first pressure setting and than run 500 iteration and save your solution. than change your inlet pressure and than run 500 iteration and save.. like this. Good thing the inlet pressure increase progressively.. |
