Hi, i have to impose an accelerating flux to simulate a car that is accelerating.
I didn't find guide or something that helps me. Can anyone explain how to impose a velocity time dependant inlet or send a guide for it? Thanks really much. |

you should be able to setup a time dependent velocity inlet or stagnation inlet and define either a field function or or input table with your t vs v relationship.

I just create a new field function "acceleration": $${acceleration}[1] = 10 $${acceleration}[2] = 0 $${acceleration}[3] = 0 then i create a new field function called VelocityVTime: $${VelocityVTime}[1] =$${acceleration}[1] *${Time} $${VelocityVTime}[2] =$${acceleration}[2] *${Time} $${VelocityVTime}[3] =$${acceleration}[3] *${Time} is it wrong? |

I think your syntax is good... cannot confirm at the moment. Did it work for you?
