Hello,
I have been trying to set up an axisymmetric plasma simulation, and have been using the User Guide to set up the physics correctly. However, upon running, I keep getting this error message: A floating point exception has occurred: floating point exception [Invalid operation]. The specific cause cannot be identified. Please refer to the troubleshooting section of the User's Guide. Context: star.plasma.coupledelectron.CoupledPlasmaElectronM odel Does anyone know what could cause this? Thank you in advance. |

Looks like your model is diverging. I am not familiar with plasma simulations. What physics options do you have enabled? First thing I would do is start with a very basic simulation and build in complexity. That way, when this pops up you will have some idea of what you added to the model that would cause this.
What do your residuals look like? |
