Hi all,

I'm trying to model a pair of pitching hydrofoils using overset meshing. Everything runs successfully, and the results seem to be right. The issue is with post-processing.

My vorticity scalar scenes are whack. At first glance it looked like the overset mesh was generating artificial vorticity--but the weird thing is that it only happens when the contour style is NOT automatic--when I don't select a smoothing style the results look correct...So this makes me wonder if it's a glitch in star..Has anyone seen something like this before?

I've attached a couple images illustrating the issue- One with the automatic contour style without the problem, and one with the smooth filled style with the weird stuff going on.
