hello all. i had running a simulation of resistance prediction of a high speed boat with a speed of 10.2888m/s in a flat wave. the residual and result was okey at the beginning but after about more than 250time steps the water was not flowing even the simulation is still running well.
i had compare the result(pressure and shear drag force at x direction) i gain with my senior simulation who was using another software and i had 0.4% error which i think it was really good result i had gained. but the problem is the the wave was not generated continously as i checked through the scalar scene that i generated to view the visualization. is it because the result already stable or there is problem with my simulation?? before this i already had running few of simulation about seakeeping and not facing any problem before. i really hope that some of you can help me. thank you and have a good day. |
