Hello everyone.
Currently I am using Starccm to model a vertical axis turbine with variable pitch. The turbine has constant rotation speed but each blade of the turbine is changing the pitch as the turbine rotates. I am modelling with superposed motion of the blade and the only way to control the blade pitch is to input the rotation rate (which is under the superposed motion tree). The question is that my main objective is pitch angle although rotation rate works to some extent, the results are not very satisfied. Is there any way to control this motion directly with pitch angle using field funtion or something else? Thank you. |
