Optimize the fastest simulation time

I have access to the following HPC to run my simulations (image in the link with different configurations).
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hl74ftil9r...uster.JPG?dl=0 I'm not too familiar with the terminology and I also read that STAR might be faster using specific configuration regarding nr. of cores VS nr. of processes. Based on this can someone give me a good input about which cluster I should use and what can be a reasonable configuration for a fast performance. Thanks in advance |

The specific performance will depend on your case (what physics, how large of a mesh, etc)
However if you look at the CPUs on those machines the last is likely to be the best. The other chips are pretty old. |
