Aeroacoustic/Hydroacoustic Simulation in STAR CCM

Hello all,
I have tried to solve marine propeller noise with Star CCM. I would like to ask you that, the signal from FW-H is not a sinusodial. It is always random and caotic. To get the true Blade Passage Frequencies, The signal must be harmonic especially in propeller rotation axis? I have done lots of think, mesh refinements, timesteps, inner iteration, turbulence model. However, I couldn't fix this. Does anybody study aeroacoustic or hydroacoustic problems such as fan noise, propeller noise? Have a nice day. |
