Overset mesh alignment

My simulation keeps crashing when the hull is pitching and lifts out of the water as speed increases, I guess it has to do with the mesh alignment(?).
As could be seen in the highlighted areas there is a mismatch in the overlapping of the cells. The overset mesh is lagging somewhat behind leaving an undefined area just ahead of it, before the transition/connection to the background domain. I'm a rookie on overset meshes, but could it be something wrong with the hole cutting? |

...........fixed:
- too many changes from sim to sim. - just had to refine the VOF mesh at the bow (was just testing stuff, wanted as short comp. time as possible) |
