Hello,
I am doing CHT simulations with transient solver for an electric motor. I have noticed that the heat transfer stability and temperature plots are progressing very slow even thought the time step is only 0.01 seconds. Any tips to improve the solving time? Thank you |

Try adjusting your relaxation factors on your solver(s).

Do you mean the temperature of the solids? Solids taking a long time to respond to temperature is pretty normal. Have you looked at the time constant for your solids? A hand calculation will get you pretty close to telling you how long it will take for them to stabilize.
