Default Issues converting Geometry to Part

Hi,

I'm relatively new to STAR CCM+ and am trying to model an airfoil beside an ahmed body.

When I input the airfoil in Geometry, I get the visual I'm expecting. However, after converting it from a Geometry to a new part, the Geometry scene shows the part as very choppy. Below are the two photos of what I'm talking about.

Correct Geometry:

Poor Part:

Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks!

Could this just be a visualization issue? When I click Repair 3-D CAD it looks fine and when I click Repair Surface, nothing shows up.

Hi cmcd2018

Does the poor picture show a surface mesh of the airfoil?
