Hi,
I'm relatively new to STAR CCM+ and am trying to model an airfoil beside an ahmed body. When I input the airfoil in Geometry, I get the visual I'm expecting. However, after converting it from a Geometry to a new part, the Geometry scene shows the part as very choppy. Below are the two photos of what I'm talking about. Correct Geometry: https://imgur.com/27OpFG1 Poor Part: https://imgur.com/a/H5Vl1 Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks! Could this just be a visualization issue? When I click Repair 3-D CAD it looks fine and when I click Repair Surface, nothing shows up. Last edited by cmcd2018; October 3, 2017 at 19:25. |

Hi cmcd2018
Does the poor picture show a surface mesh of the airfoil? greetings Thomas2009 |
