Hi everybody,
I am using overset mesh to setup my model for Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV) analysis. When I run the setup there are abnormal displays in boundaries of overset mesh (as it is seen in the attached picture)! It seems there are some unusual interactions between boundaries and background mesh!! Anybody has an idea how to solve it? Many thanks in advance. Attachment 57258 |

The mesh might be not fine enough around the boundaries of the overset region.

Thanks cwl!
You can see the mesh in the following picture. I guess it is fine enough in the boundaries! What do you think? Do you know there is any other options to simulate VIV for rigid cylinder in star CCM+? |
