Interface selection during LES in star ccm+

Hi!

I am trying to do LES from a RANS steady converged solution for Air and is using Fan interface for connecting two regions. The Fan interface works well in RANS steady as well as in transient, but when applied LES model with Smagorinsky Subgrid Scale and all y+ treatment in one of the two regions, then it by default changes the Fan interface to Baffle interface and does not allow to use any other type of interface. But, use of Fan interface is must for me..

so, what should i do now?

I am simulating a server as porous media and air flow through it. Air aisle is fluid region. I want to carry out LES of air at the exit of Server. I have connected Server (porous region) and Air aisle (Fluid region) through Fan interface. Now applying LES model in Air aisle converts the Porous region of server into Fluid region by default. I want to use RANS in Server region and LES in Air aisle.
Is it possible in Star ccm+ to carry out combined LES and RANS?

Is there any other software package in which LES and RANS can be used combined?
