Hi everyone! I am new here and would be very grateful if I could get some help with dissertation work!
For my dissertation I am designing and making a small Jet Turbine from a turbo, I am currently trying to flow the combustion chamber I have designed using Inventor. I have used Star CCM+ a little before in a previous lesson but that was for flow a car and making modifications to the body shape and not flowing through a small container. I have attached images of the problem which is that no matter how many iterations it completes the streamlines never reach the outlet. I have tried different models made as separate parts and again with everything being made as the same part I have repaired the model and there were no errors in the mesh. Could anyone please advise me on the correct settings to use? Thank you very much any help is greatly appreciated. STreamline problem.jpg Side view.PNG Physics settings.PNG Mesh settings.PNG |
