Get averaged velocity in 2D Mesh

I want to get the average velocity from the outlet of the vanes (the red line in the image attachment) while doing a thrust reverser simulation.
I think I can get it by creating a Mass Flow Averaged Report over a Plane. But in 2D Mesh simulation, I don't know how to do that. Can you please show me the way? Thank you very much! |

Not sure if this will work in 2D, but you can create a constrained plane section over that area easily.
Alternatively try a line probe. |

I doubt it will work, but you can try making a volume or surface average report on the line probe.
Otherwise getting the average is an easy matter with a little Java macro. |
