Hi there,
I'm quite new to star-ccm+ and currently working on a project at my University and would appreciate if anybody is able to explain how the following is done: I have a defined and meshed geometry with one version utilising a polyhedral mesh and the other a tetrahedral mesh; i'm looking to add a visual aid of my geometry comparing the two meshing types side by side when explaining the differences in a body of text. I've dug through the guide provided with star-ccm+ and tried looking on the net for a solution but to no avail. I'm able to view a volume mesh in the image labelled as "1", and do a section view in "2", but what I would ideally like to show is something along the lines of "3" (taken from the guide). I suppose its like a 3d section view if that makes sense? Is it possible? Many thanks! |

Make a cell surface out of your plane section from the 2nd image.
