Hello everyone.

I am trying to simulate the defrosting of a car's windscreen but I am facing troubles.
For some reason, the ice layer thickness valeu does not decrease on my windscreen. However, the temperature gradually rises over the whole time.

Before I simulated the defrosting, I simulated the flow inside the passenger compartment only solving for segregatee flow and K-Epsilon Turbulence until convergence.
After that, I switched within the physics continuum to implicit unsteady, activated a 0.5 mm ice layer on the windscreen and froze everything except energy and DeIcing. When I simulate it, the temperature changes, but not the ice layer (same surface).
Thanks for your help in advance.

Never mind.
After trying many different things I managed to fix the problem. It had to do with the stopping criteria for maximum inner iterations. Now the ice layer updates every 5 iterations

Maybe it was only the update Intervall for your scalar-scene?
