Hi,
I am trying to simulate the motion of a wooden log in the water. I am simulating only the motion below the water surface. I am using DEM coupled with CFD. I am modeling the log as DEM parcel (made up of DEM particles). The density of the log is set to 800 kg/m^3. The problem is that the log is sinking under water instead of floating. I am not sure why. I seem to have set everything right. I am using a random injector to inject the log. Does anyone know any solution for this? Thanks Akshay |
