Hi All
I am trying to use StarCCM+ for doing VOF Simulation of a 3D low pressure cleaning nozzle. I want to know if anyone has already done this in CCM+ and its outcomes compared to CFX #multiphase #VOF #Atomization #spray model If you have any information related to this kindly let me know. Thanks in advance !! Happy New Year !! |

To be honest with you - i've tried to solve problem like this one with VOF but failed.
It's definitely not a VOF-simulation - unless you've got access to supercomputer from Top-500; task would require crazy mesh size since it's a DNS-approach. I guess the S-Gamma or A-MUSIG models would be much better. Again - as for now i'm experiencing problems with S-Gamma convergence for jet break-up .. i hope i'll manage to overcome them sooner or later. |
