Dear all,
I would like to make a simple simulation on air flow in a pipe with a restrictor. The simulation is not converging correctly and I got these errors: Temperature corrections limited on 615 cells in Region Minimum Temperature limited to 100 on 924 cells in Region Turbulent viscosity limited on 13771 cells in Region My continua settings are: gas, steady, segregated fluid temperature, ideal gas, k-epsilon turbulance. I'm not even sure what are the correct settings. My experiment looks like this: I put 2 cylinders on each other and I put 4 CDs in between them. I generate a depression from below. Any ideas what can be the problem? |

Looks like a mesh-issue. Create a theshold for temperature for example and lokate the Region, where your solution have the unrealistic temperature. After that, you can fix your mesh.

For now this indeed looks like a mesh issue because no matter what I did, STAR used trim mesh all the time (even when I set it to poly)
Thanks! |
