We have 2 solid bars (with mass) and both masses are joined by spring / damper through the ends. One of the bars is also attached to the ground by spring / damper also at the ends. We want to know the movement of the whole within a virtual wind tunnel. A; we added in this message an image explaining the problem. We have a first model in star ccm + V 10 or V 9 but it does not work correctly. It is the same to solve the problem in 2D or 3D. We can send it to anyone who wants it to help us. Our mail is: info@tecnicaf1.es: Thank you very much. we not have problem with the mesh (morphing in this case), but sure yes in the simulation structure. thanks again. is important.

i assume you are using dfbi and have two bodies and using spring couplings. first forget the springs and lock the bodies and ensure this run well. then add quite stiff springs and see how that goes. if the movement is large it may be better to use overset mesh rather than morphing
