I work with Eulerian multiphase model to simulate gas-solid fluidized bed in 2D with StarCMM+, and have set the inlet as 'velocity inlet', the outlet as 'pressure outlet', and physical time as '20s'. I have created a 'sum report' for pressure at bottom (derived part: line probe, y=0), and used this report to create a monitor. I have observed that the pressure decreased as the simulation proceeded. When the simulation finished (physical time=20s), the pressure was only around 30% of the initial value.
Do anybody have any idea about this? It is not logical, right?
