Real vs Ideal Gas

In reading about the different models in Star-CCM+ for handling real gases, it mentions that some of them (i.e., SRK, reformed SRK, and equilibrium air) are best for high temperatures. What constitutes a high temperature for these models? Is it something over 1000 K, or even higher than that?
