Hi
I am going to do a FSI case. Star-CCM+ is the CFD solver. I have a in-house Fortran code to solve the structural problem. Is there any possible way to couple both to implement FSI case? I notice that Star-CCM+ is able to couple with Abaqus to solve this problem. In my case, I would like the in-house Fortran code replace the role of Abaqus. Thx. |

Look in the help under "user defined vertex motion" it is a motion model, so your code will write out the new vertex locations and most likely you will setup reports which write out forces that your code reads. Not sure if this is done within the GUI you might need a java macro to control everything but I know in Java you can run the sccm+ simulation and also execute your code. This is a fun one, enjoy

But i am not sure in the first two lines what fortran 90 code will be used. |
