Hey together!
I would appreciate your help on my problem concerning a simulation of a hydraulic valve. As you can see in the picture below Iam working with a subsystem of an oil cycle and want to take a closer look into the behaviour of a new valve. To explain the subsystem some notes (already the fluid volume):
My problem is that the simulated pressure drop (~150 bar) is way to high as the measured pressure drop is about 20-30 bar. To sum up I just want to take a look at pressures and velocities (not the movement of the valve) in one position. Could you see any mistakes in my chosen conditions or have any hints to improve the Simulation? Thank you all in advance! Here my Chosen conditions: Physic Models: Constant Density Liquid (Hydraulic Oil) Segregated Flow Turbulent 3D Steady (and tried unsteady too, no difference) Mesh: Surface Remesher Polyhedral Mesher Automatic Surface Repair Prism Layer Mesher |
