venkcy is on a distinguished road
I am trying to simulate 3d flow past cylinder. I tried creating the geometry in autodesk inventor as well as star ccm+. I tried both cylinder end from domain wall to wall as well as cylinder floating. But, I could not see vortex shedding at all.

Domain boundary conditions are inlet, outlet and side and top walls are slip condition.

Reynolds Number 200( i even tried for high re number also).
Laminar case. Implicit unsteady.

Any guidance will be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
