Hi folks,

I have a problem in drawing the velocity vs. time after a transient simulation is done.
I have conducted a transient simulation and it is converged. I've created several point probes and monitored the pressure. So I have the pressure vs time curves for those points.
However, I have these two problems:
1- how can I have velocity vs. time at the predefined points? I've been changing the corresponding report function to Velocity but I wouldn't got any curve.
By the way, I have already defined the Solution History and the velocity has been recorded.
2- can I define new point probe after the simulation is done? and how?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Cheers,
Aroma

you can use the same probe points and just create a velocity report for each one. however, as far as I know you cannot setup a report after the simulation has been run and expect to capture any data previous to the creation of the report. if you need velocity and pressure across the whole time domain then you will need to re run the analysis.

Thank you Matt.
I have saved/recorded the velocity in the solution history though. I was hoping I could use that.

hmm... I am not sure, but I still think that your reports will only work moving forward. have you tried checking the steve portal to see if there was anything posted there?
