I want to create a report that shows a scalar variance. I create the variance monitor but when I run the simulation, it says "cannot evaluate field function Variance...". However, if I create a scalar scene with the variance, it works.

I've tried with other monitors like mean or max but I have the same problem.
What am I doing wrong?

Thx.

Are you trying to display it as the variance of a variable at a point?
