Hi,
I'm working on a cyclone separator and need to define the Webernumber as a fieldfunction. The Webernumber is defined as We = ϱ*vē*d/σ where σ is the surfacetension of the particle, v is the normal velocity between the wall and the particle, d is the particle diameter and ϱ is the density of the particles. I use the euler-lagrange approach to simulate the particle-air stream. So the problem is the correlation between the incidence angle and the particles velocity (magnitude), because the incidence angle can only be displayed by using the boundary sampling on the impacting wall, while the velocity refers to the particles themselves. I have not found a way to display the weber number in a scalara scene or report... does anyone have an idea? That would be great! best regards Nils |
