I want to create a polygon surface on a plane (triangular, quadrilateral surface) and find the average velocity on that surface.
Please help me on how to create such a surface. The coordinates of the vertices of the polygon are known to me. |

sounds like you want a constrained plane. never tried a polygon shape before though.

I'm not sure why you would need a polygon surface, but you should be able to make the plane using 3D-CAD. Just make your three points, and three lines, then you should be able to make a solid and extract 1 face off of it.
