I know there have been similar topics in the past, but I would like to be absolutely sure that I'm doing everything correctly. I'm not normally using starccm+, the reason I'm using it now is to validate some results. None of my colleagues can help me so:
I want to run a periodic channel flow (incompressible) with heat transfer (passive scalar transport). (so I want a fully developed flow in a channel). I have a wall with constant heat flux. 1. I define inlet and outlet as periodic 2. Set inlet to velocity inlet, outlet to flow-split outlet 3. In interface boundary, I select fully developed interface boundary 4. in fully developed energy option I select constant heat flux walls 5. for flow I select mass flow rate 6. I specify bulk inlet temperature. So my question is: is this procedure correct? I read the manual, but I wasn't able to find an answer on this question inside. Thank you very much for reading,
