I am simulating cooling water jacket for my academic project purpose using starccm 9.04 version. In tutorials two approach is demonstrated 1) VOF Boiling model and Eulerian multiphase mix model. Since i am a beginner in CFD and STARCCM please suggest me one model and en-light me me with the reason for the choice ?
My inlet conditions are mass flow rate of 3 kg/s at 80 C temperature and 1.2 bar pressure. only temperature specified at fire deck and cylinder wall at 250 C outlet is pressure outlet kept at 0 gradient and temperature 25 C ( Many journals had gone with VOF model but i had not came across anyone specifying Eulerian multiphase mix model and had seen only in starccm ) |

Constant density model would be appropriate for real gas properties for liquid
