JeffStrath is on a distinguished road
Hi there,

I am analysing seakeeping capabilities of a boat in head waves. When I run the simulation, initially everything seems to running smoothly. After a period of 2s the free surface seems to increasing, resulting in dampened head waves and almost linear heave motions.

VOFdamping is set on all faces except symmetry, inlet and the hull. Time-step is adjusted to courant number of 0.4.

The procedure rest of the procedure is the same to the DFBI in head wave simulation.

I'm grateful for any advice,

Thanks,

Jeff
