I am trying to simulate a real life wastewater flow containing paint flakes and sediments, about 20m long. When I'm trying to generate volume mesh; using surface remesher, polyhedral mesher, errors such as overflow, self intersecting surface occur.

Is it maybe due to the geometry of my model? Or insufficient value of parameters? thanks in advance lcarasik

There are issues with your input geometry. Have you done any of the geometry clean up tutorials?

These tutorials are readily available on the Steve Portal of CD-Adapco's website or contained within the Star-CCM+ files.

Depending on how you acquired Star-CCM+, you should be provided with a login for this site.

Yes the User Guide.

I would recommend you go ahead and do all of the tutorials. It might seem like a lot but it will give you a good basis to start cleaning up and preparing your geometry.
