Hi
The aim of my project is to investigate the parametric rolling on the tumblehome hull. As advised when setting up my simulation I translated the overset mesh by 1 degree in x rotation to encourage ship rolling. However when running the simulation I have found that instead of rolling about 0 degrees, the ship instead rolls about 1 degree. I also found with different wave lengths that the vessel continues to heel to 5 degrees then starts rolling around that angle, sometimes with uneven oscillations. Therefore what can I do to remedy this and have the vessel rolling as expected. Thanks |
