Hello there!
I am simulating cavitating flow in nozzles and i would like to modify the calculationg of the turbulent viscosity. with the normal formula mu_turb = C_mu*k*k/eps the turbulent viscosity will be overpredicted in the 2-phase region and thus completely change the dynamic behaviour of the cavitation cloud. One common way of reducing the turbulent viscosity in the 2-phase region is to introduce a function within the formula of the turbulent viscosity: mu_turb = f(rho)*C_mu*k*k/eps where with l and v denoting liquid and vapour. so at the moment i don't really know where and how i can modify the equation. I would be really thankfull for any kind of suggestions. |

Im face the same problem. It seems can be modified in fluent.i also want to know whether it can be realised in starccm+.
