Hey all,
I'm a architectural engineering student and we started with a basic course in CFD during this semester. Now I would need some advice how to realize a velocity inlet with time related change of the magnitude. The aim is to simulate the start-up of a ventilator. Because if I work with constant velocity, the stationary change runs with sonic speed. But I want to simulate the real start-up condition of the ventilator. So my idea was something like a ramp increase of the velocity inlet of the ventilator. But I don't know how to realize it. BR Pete |

Hey,
just use field functions as velocity inlet. ICy |
