Hi All,
I'm working on computational analysis for a B-series propeller. When using the surface remeshing option, the remeshed surface does not capture the blade tip profile accurately. See the attached picture. Both the surface meshing models - Wrapper and Remesher eat into the blade profile tip. I have varied the base size, used feature curve option, fill holes, zip edges but nothing seems to work. Thanks. |

Check to see if the wrapped representation also has this "eating away". If so, then the issue is at the wrapper level. There could be some small leakage, or a gap in the geometry.

You might consider defining a new surface/boundary that only contains the blade edge and then possibly creating a contact prevention.
Is the geometry simple enough to avoid wrapping? |
