Hi,
The objective of my project is to reduce drag on ship by injecting air bubbles through bottom of the hull. I am using Lagrangian Multiphase with Air(gas) as the phase to inject it through hull of my ship. I have given 0m/s velocity & significantly small mass flow rate(E-10kg/s). After running for just a single time step I can observe the parcels are getting very far away from my ship. I wish to keep them close to my hull. Even in practical situations the bubbles wont go so far away, they will get collapsed after some time. What I believe is that because I am not able to collect the parcels(air bubbles) below the hull, I am unable to achieve drag reduction. Can someone please help me out? |
